Status Announcements

All Servers - 06 Jan 2010 17:20 - Routine maintenance 06.01.10 / 07.01.10

We will be undertaking routine maintenance on all servers on the evenings of Wednesday January 6th and Thursday January 7th, from 10PM GMT.

This will include cPanel updates, Apache and PHP updates and other general maintenance tasks.

The cPanel update will bring all servers onto the 11.25 release, which brings in several improvements on existing features. Customers wishing to learn more about this release can visit http://www.cpanel.net/releases/1125/

Whilst we do not expect any of this maintenance to be customer affecting, we apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.

The essential maintenance previously announced for this evening is now complete. Downtime was minimal and all reboots completed quickly and successfully. If anyone has any problems following this, please let the helpdesk know on help(at)sonnetuk.net We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

All Servers - 24 Nov 2009 15:46 - Essential server maintenance - 25/11/09

Apologies for the short notice of this announcement, however due to serious security implications, we have scheduled this work to be carried out as soon as possible.

A flaw was recently found in the CentOS kernel and as a result we will be updating all servers, starting at 10pm on Wednesday November 25th.

Each server will need to be rebooted as part of this process. Downtime should be limited to a few minutes at most, however we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
